ONLINE THERAPY
Online Therapy in Ontario: Accessible Mental Health Support from Home
What is Online Therapy?
Online therapy is an excellent alternative to in-person therapy. Our practice does not see a difference in effectiveness when compared to in-person therapy. This is true for individuals, couples and even families. Your online therapy will be done through Zoom as we have found it to be the most user-friendly video chat tool for therapy. The process is very simple: you will receive a Zoom link (via email) the day before your session, simply click the link a few minutes before your session is due to begin, ensure your video and microphone are on (bottom left corner of your Zoom screen), and voila, your therapist will be waiting for you.
Our Approach to Virtual Counselling
Our team are specialists in psychotherapy for couples, individuals and families. Every therapist is trained in EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) that has a success rate in the 90% range. We are here to listen, and there are times when we just need someone to listen, but we are also interested in helping you create lifelong change that has the possibility of generational change. Our goal is to help you identify the patterns in your life that are not working and help you change them to patterns that work. We want to help you create a new normal, even if you grew up witnessing or experiencing very unhealthy patterns of behaviour. We believe change is possible and we are in the business of helping our clients break patterns.
Therapy Services Offered
We specialize in psychotherapy for couples, relationship related issues, families, and individuals who are struggling with their relationship(s), anxiety, depression, grief, stress, parenting, anger, self-esteem, etc.

Benefits of Online Counselling
There are many benefits to online therapy, for example, scheduling flexibility, accessibility (i.e. you don’t have to worry about transportation or navigating stairs), complete anonymity in the privacy of your home or your car! You can still do a session while travelling whether for work or personally. Couples can even be in two different locations and still do a session together.
Why Choose Us
We are specialists in what we do. We want you to experience yourself and life in a way that is meaningful to you; we will help you do this by naming and understanding your personal or relational patterns, and we will help you create patterns that work. The benefit of this is not only your personal well-being, but you will create a new normal in each of your relationships, thereby creating the possibility of generational change.
We want you to know that you will be seen as a person and will never be judged regarding your circumstances. All our therapists will respond to your uniqueness and will never give cookie cutter responses. You will be received with care, compassion and empathy, and your sessions will be completely confidential. Did you know that we can’t even acknowledge that you’re a client if someone else asks us?

Virtual and in-person are both great options. Either option is highly effective and in our experience clients have not reported any negative impact in terms of reaching their goals when they switched from in-person to virtual; in fact, they have spoken highly about the flexibility and convenience of virtual therapy.
